WELCOME BACK TO THE LLOG BLOG! The 8-10 month hiatus the LMI Team has been on is now over and it’s back to business as usual.

First, from our Cleveland office:

Turns out it’s NOT spelled like the band for this clue.

Here is the latest from our LMI Commercial Offices in Seattle, WA:

LMI Archives (Denver CO) dug up this little 1995 gem…

Found in a relative’s garage. WOW. Thing is like 6’ tall. So….grunge.

Meanwhile, LMI Food Division: Denver CO was busy trying out the local foods:

Review: “Really, really good.”

Break time! Let’s look at this picture of a cat!

Cat: Not thrilled.

LMI Hanging Out Division: (Paris, FR) was working on these new ways of hanging out:

LLOG BLOG #43: Don't ask me, I don't know. by Matt Everett

Ozzy Osbourne.

This week’s episode of the LLOG BLOG: Arts and Culture Digital Magazine focuses on yet another investigation into what art is. This week, we ask you… the cultured LLOG BLOG READER… the age-old and still-yet-to-be-definitively-answered question, “is this art?” Let’s have a look…

Satan-y Mouse. (probably art.) Artist Unknown

Cloud paintings. (Oh these are DEFINITELY art! and GOOD ART at that.)

(Paintings by LMI)

Dumpster Painting. Artist Unknown. (We’re not sure on this one.)

Is this art? Is this the Alice in Chains singer, Layne Staley?

(Artist: Desmond Hansen Art. This artist is hitting a bunch of the utility boxes the King County area.)

We don’t know who the frick this is. (Artist: Joe Nix (we think)).

Another Dumpster painting. Pretty cool!

Is this concrete building art?

This is the only dumpster in Seattle without “art” on it. Unfortunately, it’s broken.

“Boing.” By LMI. (This is art.)

Is this drawn-on photo a piece of art? Yes, it is. (Art by LMI)

Is that art? (it does look pretty cool. The shades of green are interesting.)

Is this pic of a bath mat and a wall art? If you think so, we will sell you a print right now. 5$. (Photo by LMI)

Happy Birthday. Art by LMI.

There’s a LOT of good art in this place!

… Hmmm…

Send your comments into LMI to continue the discussion. If you have pics of “Art,” that you would like to share with LMI and the LLOG BLOG READING COMMUNITY, please send those into info@logmanindustries.com.

LLOG BLOG #40: The Friendly Blue Skies. by Matt Everett

LOGMAN INDUSTRIES: LLOG BLOG DIVISION made a pledge to it’s readers at the beginning of 2019 to post at least once per week for all of 2019. Well, this week we are playing catch-up… Enjoy this BLUE-THEMED episode!

Blue Cloud Paintings by LMI

Picture of the Sky. Wowwwww.

The Edge of a stack of plywood. (OSB, actually, but you probably already know that and have already emailed us rudely about the mistake.)

Look at those clouds!

Coffee house in Connecticut. Wow.

Wow. Look at those clouds.

Doesn’t that water tower in the back ground look like a UFO or something?

Two little fluffy clouds.

One little fluffy water tower.

Another cloud painting by LMI. (2016). (bad pic)

Yet another water tower. (note: blue, blue sky in the background!)

This is one of the best podcasts we here at LMI have ever listened to. Tyler Mahan Coe (@tylermahancoe) sits firmly on the level of Dan Carlin… and even Howard Zinn, in our history book! Check it out and tell a friend!

Okay, this one is just lazy. but it is blue.

That’s is enough for this week. LMI aims to get back on track next week.

OH WAIT! We cannot forget about the LLOG BLOG READER OF THE WEEK again! (sorry about last week!) (Hey, “sorry about last week” is actually a good name for an episode of this online art magazine! Stay tunes.)

LLOG BLOG #39: Traditional Irish Holiday? by Matt Everett

Sean Connery: Not traditionally Irish. Not at all Irish.

Though we are well past the holiday many of us love and cherish, the LLOG BLOG DEPARTMENT thought it would still make an intriguing report on some Irish arts and culture this week. Many other art-based news sources don’t have the courage to report on this sort of thing in this political climate. But the staff at the LLOG BLOG does.

What better way to start than to give the LLOG BLOG READERS a glimpse of how the LOGMAN INDUSTRIES: CHAIRMAN OF FOODS AND BEVS, Louie Loggerman spends St. Patrick’s Day. Check it out:

A little green to get us started.

Make a list.

Make soda bread.

Soda bread with Himilayan Salt and whole garlic cloves.

Baked. Better that way.

Picture of a green dumpster.

Prepare sweet potatoes, onions and regular potatoes.

Salt, Pepper and Guinness.

Corned beef on top. Cover and roast in oven at 275F for 6-7 hours. MMM.

Veggies in a crock pot.

Pick some fresh rosemary and thyme.

Corned beef in the crock with herbs, 1 cup coffee and (2) Guinness. 4 hours on low.

“No dogs or Irish.” Well, this guy is not invited AT ALL!

Dressed in nice socks and shoes.

Irish Butter. (for everything.)

Irish cheese. Japanese knife.

Set the table.

Okay, now we’re talkin’.

Roast your cabbage in oven for about 10 min on 375F with a little drizzle of sriracha or just seas salt and olive oil. Then it doesn’t get all soggy and gross.

Beef is done.

Three different kinds of beef. WHOA! Mmmmm.

Time to eat.

Most of the stuff was eaten.

Desert.

Well, that’s it! We will be back next week with more art and culture! Thanks for reading and stuff.

Do something nice for someone random this week and, as always, have a LOGGY WEEK!*

What is art? Let’s explore…

Tree. Pretty, but not art.

Cluster Logs = art.

Water Tower photo = art. Sure it is.

Sketch for a greeting card = not art. It’s just a good, clever idea for a greeting card.

Spray-Painted Man-Hole (yet to be installed.) = art. (clearly.)

Flippin’ Birthday Cake = art.

Utility Box Art = could’ve been better.

Stamping, frozen plane = I don’t know. Art, I guess.

Nephew asked for a Velociraptor farting log. This is what we came up with. Sorry nephew. (& sorry LB Readers.)

Deviled Eggs in Process = Art.

Spray-Painted “Amway” (?) = art.

Nephew -requested “Mummy Farting Log” = art. (Note: He said this was a “really good one.”)

Pic of Chick Peas, Roasted = Art.

First Draft T-Rex = Not Art.

Second Draft T-Rex = 1/2 Art.

Full on Art.

Divine Beauty = Art.

Let’s do the LLOG BLOG READER OF THE WEEK!

OHHHHHHH. Aunt Jo, you didn’t make it this week again. We are sure you will make it next week. Almost positive!

This week’s LBROTW is Tyler.

Tyler is the winner.

Alright, you made it through all of that, so you deserve this one… look at this pic for 30 sec. We promise you will feel a sense of awesomeness fall all over you. Enjoy!

That’s it. Sorry this one was late. Many of the LLOG BLOG team were on vacation this last week.

Whatever the excuses are, please go out and be nice to someone today. And have a LOGGY WEEK!**
