LLOG BLOG #50: YEAR IN REVIEW AND PREVIEW: / by Matt Everett

Leap Frog.

HAPPY 2026, LLOG BLOG readers/subscribers! And wow. It’s really starting out with maximum radicalism, isn’t it? We sincerely hope it is for you!

Nick Nolte = Maximum Radicality.

Anyway, If you haven’t checked in for awhile, I’m the new editor of this internationally responsible Arts & Culture Online Magazine. It’s a lot.

Matthew Logman: “Reporting on International Arts & Culture is a lot.”

Now that we have all of that out of the way, Let’s go to the Logman Industries YEAR IN REVIEW:

ART: LLOG BLOG YEAR IN REVIEW: 2025:

Here are some images from the most important Art related things that happened in 2025:

LMI: Custom Cribbage Board Series: completely sold out.

Sweet Jesus, These babies were hot. (Literally… wood burnt.)

The single most important TV show that has ever been on TV happened.

This Rug was pretty cool.

Oaxaca was Rad.

Don’t drink that.

This was NOT an acceptable word on Spelling Bee. Bull shit.

ART: LLOG BLOG YEAR IN REVIEW: INTERMISSION:

Just wanted to drop in this pic:

This dog is ready to par-tay.

And this is a picture of my Aunt’s neighbor’s cousin:

Pretty sure this pic was taken in the 1980s. But that is unconfirmed.

ART: LLOG BLOG YEAR IN REVIEW 2025: CONTINUED:

Singing puppet things in Denver.

Went to this uplifting exhibition at SFMOMA.

Anselm Kiefer. “SERAPHIM.” 1984. Oil Emulsion, Shellac, Silkscreen Ink, and happiness on Canvas.

These Gloves happened.

LMI. “Hamburger Muscle Man.” 2025. Amazing.

I found these pants in an abandoned house. I’m serious.

Wow. What a year! Now that we completed that review, let’s look ahead at what’s in store for LMI LLOG BLOG in 2026:

ART: LLOG BLOG YEAR IN PREVIEW: 2026:

LMI. “Hot Dog Dumpster Fire.” 2025.

HA HA! OMGLOAO. That’s so funny because nobody… and we me NOBODY… has used the metaphor of a “dumpster fire” for anything in the last year.

Anyway, that’s what we here at Logman Industries LTD expect for 2026. More of that. Oh, and also, stay tuned for the following:
