Welcome to another informative and challenging issue of the LLOG BLOG. Here at LOGMAN INDUSTRIES LTD LLC, we know that it is our mission to challenge your notions of Arts and Culture. So that’s what we do. Weekly.

Anyway, we noticed only too late that last week’s LLOG BLOG Issue published with a few prank hyper-links. (This was the doing of my brother and I’ve now changed all the passwords on the mainframe LMI computer system.) However, here at LMI, we like to stay positive. We turn pranks into THANKS!

So, this week, we are going to discover and uncover the ART in LINKS! (You don’t have to click on all of them. We don’t care because there’s plenty to look at right here.)

So I put it to you, the reader. Is this a good idea? Let’s take a look…

This one is pretty good! Might want to run this by our text layout dept, though.

Hmmm. This one is strangely specific. But I know exactly who Jim is aiming this at. He. he. wink. wink. (it’s Glen in accounting, right?)

LMI Creative Division: Brussels has been working on “some retro cartoon reboots.” Let’s see what that’s all about:

LLOG BLOG #51: ART AND BURRITOS: THE ANNUAL BURRITO EDITION! / January 11, 2026 by Matt Everett

Congratulations! You’ve officially been TACO MANNED… AGAIN! (See last week’s LLOG BLOG issue for details.)

Hiho! Welcome to this week’s edition of the LLOG BLOG, your first stop on the journey to find out what is going on in the world of Arts and Cultures.

Yes, per the title seen above, we have returned to the old fan favorite: The BURRITO EDITION! YES! Seriously, who does not like burritos. I wouldn’t trust whomever just raised their hand. Seriously.

ART: INTRODUCTION:

But before we get to that, allow me to reintroduce myself. Due to some major reconfigs in the LOGMAN INDUSTRIES LTD LLC organization, I am now the sole editor of this wholly comprehensive weekly international Arts and Culture online magazine. I’m Matthew Logman. NBD.

We have a fantastic group of writers and contributors, but I will list them with pictures later.

ART: MOVIES

Oh boy, Oh boy. We are getting really close to award season. So, as a Culturally responsible Arts mag, we simply must talk movies for a bit.

I’ve heard a lot about this movie but I haven’t seen it yet. However, when I was younger, I listened to that album “Paul’s Botique” by the Beastie Boys probably 10,000* times. All the way through. And I’m not kidding.**

Well, on the track “Posse in Effect” (yes, I had to look up the title because I’m just not good at remembering titles. More on that later.) there is this line that they say “…and you know I got rhymes like Abe Vigoda.”

Well for years I thought they were saying, “…and you know I’ve got rhymes like A BEGONIA.” Which, at the time and up to a week or so ago, I had no idea what a “begonia” was and just assumed it was some cool NYC way to say something that rhymed very very well. Or a wiener… I guess if wieners rhymed well?

I don’t know why I never looked it up until last week. But, now I know that it is Abe Vigota the Beatie Boys were talking about and I also know know that a begonia is a flower. Or a plant, I guess?

The LMI Fact Checking Dept has yet to get back to me regarding the quality/quantity of the rhyme stylings of Abe Vigoda, so on that I have no comment for now.

Also not Begonia, but pretty rad! (Oaxaca)

Okay, Let’s get back on track here…

ART: MUSIC & BURRITOS:

For this special issue, we wanted to find something in music that went with the theme a little bit.

The Flying Burrito Brothers “Last of the Red Hot Burritos” 1972 A&M Records

This record is pretty good. It’s live. My friend has studio recorded album of theirs that it even better but I can’t remember the title of that one.

If you have never heard of Gram Parsons, we recommend you check him out. Super talented and interesting person.

LLOG BLOG #49: A Whole New Approach at Whatever: The Return of the LLOG BLOG. / December 28, 2025 by Matt Everett

Hello again. Or, if you are just tuning in, welcome to the LLOG BLOG.

If you don’t know what the LLOG BLOG is, well, it is basically the leading online art magazine in the world. Also, if you want to know more, feel free to go back into the annals and get caught up. (Finger imoji pointing upwards. Or downwards. Depending on where you see the rest of the LLOG BLOG issues.)

INTRODUCTION:

Anyway, Here at Logman Industries LLC LTD, we have made some administrative changes and I am now the new editor of this thing:

Now that you know who I am, why don’t we get to know a little bit more about what the world of Art has been up to since the last episode of LLOG BLOG…

REAL ART:

Oh, this art world is such a fickle beast. Let’s take a break from art for a minute.

SPORTS:

Do you like to roller skate? If so, do you want to buy my brother’s roller skates for $100. (He says that if he can sell a few things he can afford to get his own apartment. So I’m trying to help him out.)

(Okay, apparently I’m not supposed to use this forum for personal things.)

MUSIC ART:

Let’s skip ahead to this artsy pic of a rock and roll show at a roller rink:

“Will somebody please for the love of god, turn off the fog machine?”

The band was Bog Ore and they actually created a fog shortage in the Pacific Northwest that lasted 7 months after this show. Good show.

LMI ART STUDIOS:

Next, let’s look at some of the cool new art coming out of the Logman Industries Creative Photography Division: Longmont, CO. (We got a killer deal on a warehouse space there and built out a studio for very very cheap. And there is an active railroad track that goes through there so it makes for meeting supply chain demands much more affordable and efficient. Other than that, this place is a real-live shit hole.)

Limited prints are available. Pretty soon we will probably make purchasing them through this website a possibility. Stay tuned.

MARKETING ART:

Let’s move on to the LMI: Marketing Strategy of the Week segment. This one was sent in by LMI reader and professional, Blatt Beverett from Burien, WA.

This past year, LMI had to close down their (3) Marketing Divisions due to national economic issues and lack of paying clientele (honestly, more due to the latter). And believe you/me… I’ve sat through marketing pitches with many, many LMI marketing teams that were nothing less than outrageous.

But what I wouldn’t give to have been sitting in this room when this one was pitched to the Denny’s CEO. “Beyond Expec-Steak-Tions. Hmmm. Do you think that will get people back in here for boiled steak even after what happened the last time they were in here?”

Weighing in at probably around 150lbs (you do the “stones” or whatever conversion), this guy was one of the OGs leading up to the Renaissance…the heaviest of hitters, painting churches all over Italy for at least like 40 years… Born in ca. 1267… you guessed it! It’s GIOTTO!

The next LLOG BLOG ARTIST OF THE WEEK is no slouch either! Though he has way less churches under his belt, this guy is an art production MACHINE! He has made probably way more than 100 paintings and here is one of them…

LLOG BLOG #46: Spring Cleaning / March 31, 2020 by Matt Everett

Welcome back to the LLOG BLOG. (Please note that we are not using adjectives like “World-reknown” or '“Industry-leading” anymore.)

Anyway, this week, while we have the time, we are looking to clean up our work spaces (both physical and mental). As you may know, all LOGMAN INDUSTRIES Creative Rooms are required to use cork-board vision boards at all offices around the world. (See sample below). We have requested that all of these VB’s (as they are called in the office…cool, huh?) get completely cleared as we prepare for a new line of work and product for the post-COVID-19 world.

Here is an example of one of our VB-19s:

First one, He’s an oldie (1445-1510) from an old country… He’s mainly known for such hits as, “The Birth of Venus” and “Venus and Mars” (look ‘em up) and also wore funny hats! Well boys may be from Mars and girls from Venus, but this dude hails from the boot shaped peninsula (?) we call ITALY… Yes, you guessed it… its SANDRO BOTTICELLI ! BOOOOOOM!

“Damn it, Debbie! You spilled the cigars again!”

That snip is from the larger 1483 tempura work called, “The Story of Natagio degli Onesti: Scene 3: The Banquet in the Pinewoods.” Well, if I knew it was going to be this kind of banquet, I’d a…. Never mind.

LLOG BLOG #45: The Shot Heard Nowhere Around the World: Ch-ch-ch-Changes. / December 1, 2019 by Matt Everett

Hello and Welcome back to another SHOCKING issue of the WORLD-RENOWNED LLOG BLOG!

As responsible providers of cutting-edge fine art/culture news, we want to start this issue with a letter from the editor, regarding rumors about LMI and their artistic direction for 2020 which have been circulating industry-wide for over 5 days now. Here is said letter:

Short and to the point. That’s why we hired an LMI Editor.

Yes, the rumors are indeed true. LMI will be closing most of their international offices, firing everyone except for their TOP-RATED, GRADE A, SUPER-CHARGED CREATIVE TEAM, moving all production to one location, (probably in Seattle, WA) and ceasing all production of LOG-BASED ARTWORK for at least 365 days (1 year).

However, before we get into the details, let’s revisit the title of this issue of the LLOG BLOG momentarily:

Anyways, until 1/1/2020, we will be using the LLOG BLOG to highlight some of the best of log-based artwork through the years. Like this exploding log:

Oh, don’t be sad, little buddies,

…LMI will be very active with another project, which you… YES YOU… can help out with. (Read more below for the details).

Oh, and remember some of the failed marketing/design projects like this one for OLD DOG SK8S?

This one illustrates what it would look like on the actual skate board. All that engineering, designing, artistry for NOTHING.

So… what will LMI do then in 2020. LMI intends to do a year (or more) of portraiture. We will have our team of artist focus solely on the art of painting portraits… people, dogs, cats, whatever.

Here’s how you can help if you care to…. send a PICTURE OF YOUR SUBJECT (you, your partner, your cat, local postal worker, whatever) to info@logmanindustries.com. We may use your image as we work through thousands of paintings in 2020.

We have already received a few… surprise, surprise… OZZY didn’t follow the rules (look at the backgraound).
